    Description

PCGS authenticated and graded MS 62 BN.
A mix of chocolate, light brown, and steel with a spot of reddish oxidation at the shoulder. The only other detractions are trivial nicks along the upper obverse rim, nothing major or distracting. Satiny, lustrous surfaces otherwise. M-LDS, Breen state III, with dull die clash marks and weakened dentils on both sides. Tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #38514. CC#3 in the Bland census. Nice provenance going back just shy of a century.
