    Description

This is quite unusual, but you can tell someone really loved their dog..or perhaps a token of love?  Not sure.  Appears to be a type of grave cemetery marker that was crafted out of another piece made of bronze.  It is a round circle with a star, with an inside glass photo of a little dog.  Here's some clues about this piece: Bottom EL PASO TEX.   Play cards suit on each side:  heart, spade, diamond and clover.  P A T S Y in letters on the ends of each star.  BE PRY letters at the top.  Horse, elephant, dog, and an Asian figurine, similar to a Foo Dog figurine.  Two tiny enamel pins are attached on the middle:  Mason and Eastern Star, masonic reference.  HBB MAUDE IOMA Born Aug 7th 1930. Engraved plaque reads:  To Maude From Harry 12-25-1930 (Christmas).   This is a hand-made or modified piece and has scratches, surface wear and imperfections.  The glass in the middle has a crack on the left side and inside looks to have had damage before the picture was added and screwed on the back.  Measures about 12 inches diameter, little longer with the horse head.  Has some oxidation as shown.  Estate find.
