The rattle has a cotton strap that has Velcro attached so that you can adjust the size and place the rattle on the childs wrist or foot. The rattle is covered in faux lambs wool and measures 5" x 2 1/2" x 3/4". The face of he lamp is a soft flannel with the eyes and mouth printed on the fabric. The sewing on the rattle is strong, no loose pieces. I have hand washed in Dawn dish soap and air dried the Lambs head rattle.
